RESPONSIBILITIES:

The IT Admin assistant provides operational support for the Rooms To Go IT department through the administration of various cross-functional services. The IT Administrative Assistant is responsible for the procurement of IT equipment, maintaining supplier records and relevant metrics, running and delivery of reports, handling billing and invoice issues, administering the managed print services program, making travel arrangements, performing calendaring and schedule updates and making arrangements for meetings, as well as other miscellaneous administrative services. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and participate in and prioritize handling multiple initiatives at any one time. The candidate should possess a passion for quality, and possess excellent organization and interpersonal skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some college course work toward a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or work experience equivalent to required education;
  • Knowledge of the follow:
    • Windows Desktop OS, Windows Mobile OS, Mac OS,
    • Local Area Networks, TCP/IP, Wireless technology,
    • Microsoft products,
    • Basic User & Security Group Active Directory administration,
    • Knowledge of various smartphones (iPhone, Android, Windows),
    • Remote Desktop and VPN for assisting remote users,
    • Troubleshooting laptops, desktops, tablets, printers, phones, thin client devices, network connectivity, wireless LAN connectivity and mobile devices,
    • Citrix environments, and
    • VoIP systems

    • Travel booking, expense reporting
    • Calendar management
  • Candidates should have advanced knowledge of:
    • Personal Computer skills and Microsoft Office software suite (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word).
    • IT Procurement
    • Supplier management and reporting
    • Participation in enterprise projects
  • Candidates should be familiar with:
    • IT Asset management
    • Document management systems
  • Preferred: Associate’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Preferred: Formal training in procurement
